Job Description
We are looking for freshers with strong Linux skills to join our enterprise applications support team. You will work on critical systems running SAP, Java, and Python-based applications. The role you are assigned to will depend on your skills, aptitude, and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Linux-based servers supporting enterprise applications.
- Monitor system health, performance, and availability across production environments.
- Troubleshoot OS-level issues, manage user accounts, handle file systems, and maintain scheduled jobs.
- Work with application teams to support deployments, patching, and environment management.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in rotational shift support including night shifts and weekend on-call duties.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Strong working knowledge of Linux — command line, file system hierarchy, permissions, process management, networking basics, shell scripting, and package management.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts including nights and weekends.
- Qualification: B.Sc Computer Science, M.Sc Computers, BCA, MCA, B.Tech in IT/CS, or a related discipline.
Good to Have:
Familiarity with database concepts such as SQL basics and backup/restore. Exposure to any enterprise application environment. Basic understanding of networking, DNS, and firewall concepts.
Selection Process:
- Written test covering Linux administration, troubleshooting scenarios, and logical reasoning.
- Technical interview.
- HR interview.
