The scenario allows you to make usage of the delivered functionality in the areas of freight collaboration, global track and trace and intelligent insights.
SAP Logistics Business Network enables you with the following capabilities: a) Global Track and Trace: Global Track and Trace monitor order fulfillment and goods-intransit, based on standard apps and pre- defined templates such as the sales order fulfillment and shipment template, a generic API to ingest visibility data and enticing user interfaces. b) Freight Collaboration: Freight Collaboration usage of all delivered capabilities such as tendering and subcontracting, freight booking collaboration, freight settlement, dock appointment scheduling and gate processing, track freight movements. c) Onboarding: onboard and set up your test business partner tenants once and make use of SAP Logistics Business Network options, global track and trace and freight collaboration options. Public API’s to connect to digital freight forwarders. d) Intelligent insights : Intelligent insights provide out-of-the-box monitoring of shipments in execution and location level supply chain risks and threats across multiple transport modes, based on data sources in the supported underlying SAP Logistics Business Network option as well as predefined logistics execution/ performance analytics dashboard with flexible customization capabilities
The license allows partners for freight collaboration option to set up a test network, involving applications for different roles and business partners. Partners can create sub accounts for up to 5 shipper tenants and 20 business partner tenants, to cover, for example, carriers and freight forwarders.
For SAP Logistics Business Networks, global track and trace option, a Document is a process or object that is tracked on an individual basis, such as a sales order item or a delivery.
For Logistics Business Networks, freight collaboration option, a document is a business document processed in a scenario such as a freight order for carrier collaboration, a freight order that is being tracked, or an appointment managed between logistics partners.
For SAP Logistics Business Network, intelligent insights option, locations for which risk data is collated as well as Documents from the underlying service are considered.
